Will be an excellent property once the above issues are sorted. Positive: The property was beautifully decorated and generally had good facilities in a great location. But there were some issues. Negative: We booked a cottage that claimed to have 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and a double bed. This was not the case and the second bedroom had a very small sofa bed, only really big enough for 1 person that wasn’t even set up for our arrival. This could easily be rectified by putting in a double bed, rather than it being a study! We also had trouble getting the keys out of the lock box. It had to be forced open. The plates were all too big to fit in the dishwasher and it was unpleasant eating from silver plated cutlery that had been through the dishwasher. We also worried that we would be charged a lot of money to replace the beautiful Spode china if we broke any. It might be best to swap them for more utility crockery and cutlery. Hooks are needed in the bathrooms and bedrooms for towels. Apart from the above we very much enjoyed the cottage and assume that these are just teething problems of a new property.
