Fishergate River View

Lovely apartment close to the city with views and parking. Positive: The apartment was very well equipped and lovely and clean. It had wonderful views overlooking the river and a lovely little balcony to sit on. Negative: Unfortunately the temperatures dropped during our stay. It was fine during the day when we were out and about but the mornings and evenings were quite cold and we couldn’t get the heating to work. It could do with smaller chairs to sit on the balcony as the two provided which were in a cupboard were quite heavy to lift out and far too big for the actual balcony size. The larger of the two bedrooms was quite noisy being by the road, and I think the window closest to the bed did not have a very good seal as it sounded like it was open even when it was closed.

Stunning location, beautiful hosts 🩷 Positive: Excellent, great hosts, made to feel very welcome. Location excellent, free parking . Clean , spacious, has everything you need. Negative: Couple of small changes to make it better.Think it could do with a spruce up inside, a little dated decor, and if possible, an additional bathroom would make this idyllic , thats it really.

Would stay again but wouldn’t pay as much especially without a working hairdryer Positive: Great location, i had an appointment somewhere nearby so the location was fab. We loved the balcony and great view- bed was comfortable and whole property was clean Negative: Tiny hairdryer didn’t work at all- i have thick naturally curly hair so it took forever for my hair to dry, because of this. The facilities were quite basic for the price. Maybe some new blinds in the main bedroom too as the sun beamed in immediately in the morning. The windows were closed but we heard people just talking in the street as if the windows were open whilst we were trying to sleep so potentially an issue there.
